I met Janelle when she first began attending our church, Awaken. She had recently graduated from college and moved to New York from Lancaster, PA for a job at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. About a year later we started hearing about this boy that her hairdresser from home had set her up with. And before we knew it Tyler was visiting every couple of weekends, coming to Awaken with Janelle and helping us teardown after church.
Growing up in Pittsburgh there wasn’t too much ocean water around us. We had the three rivers and Lake Erie, but they usually looked kind of brown. When I moved to New York it didn’t really set in that the ocean was close until Ben started taking me to different beaches. Last year we quickly visited Newport on our way home and I made Ben promise to take me back.
I can’t believe our family vacation has already been 2 months ago and I’m just blogging it. My mom’s side of the family goes on an annual family vacation to Long Boat Key, Fl. We all have time shares at the same place so that we can be together, but also have our own space.
Michelle + Campbell had a beautiful Blue Hill at Stone Barns wedding. They were originally planning a larger wedding, but when they thought about a wedding that represented them they pictured a smaller, intimate wedding. So they invited 18 of their closest friends and family for a simple afternoon wedding that was absolutely stunning in every way.
How in the world is it already September?!? I cannot believe how fast the months are going by! With each weekend filled to capacity it just makes time fly on by. In August we were able to visit Ben’s family for our nephew’s birthday and then our nieces and nephew came to visit NYC and do some shopping at the American Girl and Lego stores. We went sailing for an evening with friends and went to a 1920’s jazz picnic on Governor’s Island and even got dressed up for it. Oh and in between all of that I shot a lot and edited like crazy.
