I’ve shot at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club before in the Fall and now also in the Summer. Fiddler’s Elbow is beautiful in both seasons, but I have to say there was some really beautiful light this time that I second shot for Jessa of Love & Light Photographs.
Well May was just full of shooting! I helped my friend Amy shoot three weddings with Mekina because Amy was due with her baby boy any day… two of the weddings were in the city. (Good news, Amy did not go into labor at the weddings and she now has a healthy little boy.) I used my rain boots that I got for Christmas a good amount between rainy wedding days and stomping through high grass for other shoots; I am so thankful for them. Ben and I spent a good amount of time out in our yard getting it ready for spring. Ben grilled and I finally planted my little babies outside. Our trees had pretty white blossoms on them that I loved seeing outside of our window every morning for the past month.
I have a love for organization. There’s just something about everything having a place that makes me so happy : ) I also really love chalkboard paint because it’s just so much fun and I can change whatever is written on it whenever I want. It’s perfect for reorganization!
It’s been 1,827 days since my Daddy walked me down the aisle towards my fiancé. 1,827 days since we had so many people that loved and supported us all around us together. 1,827 days since we both said “I Do” to a forever together. 1,827 days seems like a lot of days together, but not necessarily a significant amount of days… except that the 1,827 days is actually 5 years for us. We’re celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary today!
Christine + Jonathan are friends of ours from our church, Awaken. They’re expecting their little boy in June and wanted some maternity pictures along the Hudson River. So we went to Rockefeller State Park Preserve for a Rockwood Hall Maternity Session.
